Sarah and I went to Stokehouse to celebrate our birthdays. It's not Sydney Harbour, but the outlook over the bay has its charm. At first we thought it was the hardwood floors and bare walls that made the atmosphere a little on the noisy side, but it turns out that it was actually a large, noisy table seated near us.
From this we could tell that the food was going to be pretty good, because we could track when the large table were getting their meals by the volume being turned all the way down. And the food sure was worth shutting up for. Wine list wasn't too bad either.
Another place worth crossing the river for.
